He was predeceased by: his parents, Osteen Williams and Ruby Williams; his wife Ella V. Williams; his sisters, Janie Ruth Schultz and Lucille Johnson; and his great grandchild Jayce Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Fred Douglas Williams (Terra) of Clemson, SC, James Dwight Sullivan (Martha) of Atlanta, GA, Jacqueline Elaine Williams of Atlanta, GA and Judy Gibson (Andrew) of Charlotte, NC; his friend Janie Stewart of Piedmont, SC; and his grandchildren, Yolanda Richardson of Williamston, SC, Nneka Talib of Atlanta, GA, Khary Matthews of Raleigh, NC, Rahshon Williams of Atlanta, GA and Fredrick Williams of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and cousins.
