She was predeceased by: her parents, C. L. Burgess and Tecora Chapman Burgess; and her sisters, Edna Redus and Audrey Copeland. She is survived by: her son Jerry Wayne Lewis of Williamston; her siblings, Shelby Tant of Belton, Shirley Cooper (Danny) of Pelzer, Pearl Thayer of Tampa, FL, Vernon Burgess of Piedmont and Silas Burgess of Williamston; her grandchildren, Nikki Funk (Steve) and Rusty Lewis (Shannon); and her great grandchildren, Caden, Colton, Zach, Hope and Ozzy.
