She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Carlton Slade, Ruby Slade of Williamston, Lois Aurelia Slade (Jed Schwartz) of Woodstock, NY, Calvin Slade (Juana Slade) of Greenville, Cassandra Keasler of Seneca and Monica Acker of Williamston; and her mother Essie Lee Taylor. She was also cherished by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Unity Mortuary of Willliamston (110 N Hamilton St, Williamston, SC 29697). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church (2208 Beaverdam Rd, Williamston, SC 29697).
