With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dendy Jackson of Williamston, South Carolina, born in Pelzer, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Knight and Louise Knight; his granddaughters, Jaela Kelley and Kendall Pless; and his sister Judy Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Jackson; his children, Tonya Heatherly (Bobby), Shane Jackson, Kelli Pless (Tracy) and Clay Jackson; his grandchildren, Lance Jackson, Kelsey Clark, Savannah Smithwick, Case Dooley and Hunter Pless; his great grandchildren, Nathan Jackson, Lila Clark, Conor Jackson, Charlee Clark and Alaiah Clark; and his siblings, Debbie Payton and Chuck Knight. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Disabled American Veterans Association.
