It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carthel Crout of Williamston, South Carolina, who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlar Carthel Crout, Sr. and Edna Virginia Ford Crout; and his brother Jon Stanley Crout. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Proctor Crout; his daughters, Lee Ashley Crout and Leslie Crout Hill (Matt); his grandsons, Chase Hill and Riley Hill (Kirsten); and his great grandchild Cason Hill.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (10 Academy St, Williamston, SC 29697). A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cooper Veterans Cemetery (140 Inway Dr, Anderson, SC 29621).
