He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlar Carthel Crout, Sr. and Edna Virginia Ford Crout; and his brother Jon Stanley Crout. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lee Proctor Crout; his daughters, Lee Ashley Crout and Leslie Crout Hill (Matt); his grandsons, Chase Hill and Riley Hill (Kirsten); and his great grandchild Cason Hill.
