She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Bolden Edwards and James Nelson Edwards of Anderson; her brothers, Frank and Billy Joe Edwards; and her former husband Gary Lewis Burts.
She is survived by: her children, Kamilla Edwards of Williamston, Terrell Edwards of Williamston, Kenngie Burts of Williamston and Dr. Gary Edwards (Kwanjalin) of Birmingham, Alabama; her close friend Terry Johnson; and her siblings, William Nelson Edwards of Williamston, Grady Edwards of Greenville, Franklin Leon Edwards of Williamston, Anthony Edwards of Greenville, SC and Felecia Edwards of Greenville, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
