She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Worthy; her parents, Charley Boyd and Fannie Mae Titus Boyd; and her siblings, Levi, Robert, Willie, Alphonso, Charles Boyd (Mark), Elizabeth Aughtry (Lump) and Lelia Agnes Dawkins (Doll).
She is survived by: her children, Colonel Horace Worthy of Burke, VA, Alvin Worthy (Pop), Otis W. Worthy (Barbara) of Charlotte, NC, Raymond Worthy, Dorothy G. Worthy of Stone Mt, Dianne W. Spencer (Mike) of Carlisle, SC, Armanda W. Jeter and Joyce Ann Worthy-Wilson (Danny) of Stone Mt; and her siblings-in-law, Louella Crosby, Herman (Lucy) of Whitmire, SC and Rev. Thomas Worthy (Sarah) of Whitmire, SC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
