It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Aaron Peay of Whitmire, South Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Peay and Nancy Darby Peay. He is survived by: his daughter Karon Peay Owens (Boyd); his grandchildren, Kyle Owens (Brooke) and Megan Owens; and his great grandchildren, Allie Owens, Jamey Owens and Cason Owens.

Memorials may be made to his church, Heritage Wesleyan Church, 1305 Broom St., Whitmire, SC 29178.
