She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley B. and Arminia Trent Bailey; her children, Thomas H. Elrod (Nancy) of Winston Salem, NC, Stanley M. Elrod (Linda) of Winston Salem, NC and Donna E. Whitlock of Laurens; her grandchildren, Stanley J. Whitlock (Leslie), Brian T. Whitlock (Tina), Michael L. Elrod, Ryan T. Elrod (Casey), Jacob G. Elrod (Emily), Graham Whitlock (Nicole) and Adam J. Elrod (Meredith); her great grandchildren, Rebecca Bailey Whitlock, Julie Michelle Sams, Madeline Dean Whitlock, Reaghan Marie Whitlock, Joshua Brian Sams, Crawford Thomas Elrod, Mary Trent Whitlock, Caroline Elizabeth Elrod, Coleman Ryan Elrod, Wyatt Henry Elrod and Emory Elizabeth Elrod; and also Jean Whitlock of Laurens.
