He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Lindler and Faustine Elsmore Lindler; and his sister Maxine Wallen. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith Lindler; his children, Daniel Lindler of Laurens, Richard Blake Lindler of Whitmire, Angela Paige Lindler of Whitmire and Tracy Baumgardner of Gainesville, FL; and his siblings, Jerry Lindler of Arizona, Judy Hipp of Winston-Salem, NC and Jean Lindler of Whitmire. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
