It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Monroe Pace of Whitmire, South Carolina, born in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Monroe and Ethelda Edmonds Pace; his daughter Teresa Thrift; and his siblings, Bruce, Eddie Pace, Joy Brown and Jane Hollingsworth.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Pace of Clinton and Travis Monroe Pace of Whitmire; his siblings, Larry Pace of Clinton, Henry Pace of Clinton, Carolyn Edwards of Sumter, SC, Diane Hunt (Daryl) of Walterboro, SC, Margie Kuykendall (Danny) of Laurens and Angela Raney of Joanna; his grandchildren, Derek Wilbanks (Nicole) of Greenwood, Kayla Lawson (Chris) of Kinards, Megan Thrift of Whitmire and Logan Thrift (Chelsea) of Whitmire; and his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Gagnon, Anzley Wilbanks, Grace Wilbanks, Alivia Peake, Miabella Thrift, Cambree Thrift, Jaxson Summers, Millie Thrift and Cove Thrift. He is also survived by his twenty-six nieces and nephews; and thirty-nine great-nieces and great-nephews.
