With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Peay Dunaway of Whitmire, South Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Peay and Fannie Mae Walker Peay; and her brother Leonard Peay. She is survived by: her children, Gaylan Dunaway (Carolyn), Kevin Dunaway (Reneea Pressley), Jason Dunaway (Leigh) and Mona Armstrong; her grandchildren, Jessica Shealy (Corey), Cody Dunaway, Devin Armstrong (Heather) and Noah Armstrong (Keri); her great grandchildren, Justin Spells, Jacob Spells, Makenzy Shealy and Kinsley Hood; and her siblings, Tom Peay and Ellen Wise. She is also survived by loving mother to her children and grandchildren.
