He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Ray Peay and Helen Johnson Peay; and his sister Patricia Peay Moss. He is survived by: his daughter Cynthia Smallwood (Michael) of Newberry, SC; his grandchildren, Kayla Lawson (Thomas), Brianna Riffey (Austin), Morgan Conboy, Anthony, Shanna Riffey and Abby Riffey; his great grandchildren, Colton Landreth, Asher Landreth, Hailee Conboy, Daesyn Lawson and Beaux Jenkins; and his nephew Freddy Moss, Jr..
