She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dowd and Ida Dowd; her spouse Reverend Guy Calvin Cruse; and her siblings, Mary Alice Hendricks, Katie Hardy, Virginia Dowd, Robbie Hamer, Jesse Dowd, Elbert Dowd, Curtis Dowd, Richard Dowd and Daniel Dowd.
She is survived by: her son Reggie Cruse (Amanda); her grandson Joshua Cruse (Paulene); her great grandchildren, Paige, Rebekah Cruse and Keller Cruse; her granddaughter Karen Peterson (Kent); her great grandchild Kelsey Peterson; her granddaughter Joy Cruse; her great grandchildren, Calvin Lee and Cole Lee; and her grandson Keith Cruse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, PO Box 367, White Rock, SC 29177 where Guy and Cary served for 33 years.
