She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Gini" Thomas McAulay (William A. McAulay) of Garner, NC and Michael Wayne Thomas of Gastonia; and her sister Ann McCall Reynolds of Pinewood, SC. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
