She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Bertha Smith (Foy) and Clyde Lee Smith; her husband Elvin Lee Jackson; her sister Lillie Mae Simpson; her sons-in-law, Bob Cothran and William "Opie" Reid; her sons, Billy Wayne Jackson, Charles Jackson and Eddie Jackson; her grandsons, Duane Reid and Brian Cothran; and her great grandchildren, Conner Whitehead and J. J. Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Faye Cothran of Inman, SC, Linda Reid of Columbia, SC and Herman Jackson (Barbara) of Boiling Springs, SC; her sister Gladys Palmatree of Longview; and her daughters-in-law, Martha Jackson and Frankie Jackson. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 12 great, great grandchildren, 2 step granddaughters, 3 step great grandchildren, 5 step great, great grandchildren.
