As we bid adieu to Eddie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Eddie has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Otis Crooks and Maggie Baxter Crooks; and his brothers, John Henry Crooks and Raymond Baxter. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Harrington (Travis) of Columbia, SC, Loretta Crooks of Columbia, SC and Justina Crooks of Columbia, SC; his siblings, Willie Crooks and Clara Crooks Dawkins; his uncle Willie Baxter, Jr. (Roy Lee) of Newberry, SC; and his friends, Tony Neal and Prophet Chris Coleman. He is also survived by five grandchildren, numerous cousins.
