She was predeceased by: her parents, George Walker Adkins and Lilly Kennedy Adkins; her husband James C. Ashley; and her siblings, Jerry Adkins, James Adkins, Paul Adkins, Johnny Adkins, Bundy Adkins and Carolyn Adkins Lucas.
She is survived by: her children, James Michael Ashley (Deborah) of Rock Hill, SC, Kevin G. Ashley (Mandy) and Deborah Williams; and her brother William Adkins (Peggy). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Ashley's name to Mt. Gallant Church of God.
