He is survived by: his sister Bobbie Nivens Thompson; his children, David S. Nivens Jr. of High Point, N. C., Richard L. (Roxanne) and Carol Nivens Watson (Dennis) of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Heather Watson Bouchet (Bobby), Allison Watson Vogel (Jason), Norma "Shellie" Nivens, Elizabeth Nivens Dillingham (Curwood), Claire Nivens Pasquinelli (Rich) and Lydia Nivens Larson (Phil); his great grandchildren, Audrey and Phil Larson Jr.; and his sister-in-law Jean Pearson Safdy of California.
