He is survived by: his children, Kim Merck (David) of Rock Hill, SC, Crystal Cameron (Wayne) of York, SC, Penny Merck (Eddie) and David Padgett Jr. (Amanda); his siblings, Alfred Padgett (Pat), Susan Deiner (Nick), Rhonda, Judy Neilson and Ann McManus; his grandchildren, Johnny, Jason, Matt, Colby, Tristan, Hunter, Meaghan, Tanner, Nick, Garrett, Justin, Daniel and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Mattie, Jaxon, Poppy, Austin, Taylor, Caleb, Charlotte and Caroline; his caregiver Sissy Cameron; and his friend Jack Carroll.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Padgett's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
