He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alford, Jr. and Leannar Fulmore-Alford; and his siblings, John Wesley Alford, Margret Alford and Myrtle Lee Alford.
He is survived by: his sisters, Gloria Alford and Carmelia Duggins (Jesse); his aunts, Jannette Gordon, Christen Alford and Alice Alford-Tisdale (Solomon); his nephews, Kelvin (Virginia), Damon, Terry, Isaiah, Jesse Jr., Jasper, Jonathan (Pamela) and Kelsey; and his sister Laura Alford (Johnny).
