He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Mae Blackwell Johnson; his parents, Herman Johnson and Vester Mae Maddox Johnson; and his brother Don Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Diane Banks of Toccoa, Jean Kirby, Presley Johnson of Anderson, Wendi McAlister of Starr and Vesther Johnson of Liberty; and his siblings, Lewis Johnson of Anderson, Billy Johnson of Belton, Sylvia Campbell of Belton, Janie Heidelberg of Anderson and Betty Levy of Belton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
