He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Sharpe and Ruby Griffin Sharpe; and his brothers, Garland Sharpe, Wayne Sharpe and Bob Sharpe.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Ruff Sharpe; his son Zach Sharpe (Keagen) of Westminster; his grandchildren, McKinesy, Ray and Jordan Sharpe; and his sister Janice Smith of Mayodan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
