Virgil Wright Meares Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Quarles Meares and William Booth Meares; his former wife Helen Meredith Meares; his children, Kenneth (Meares) and Sharon M. Miller; and his brothers, Cecil Meares, J. W. Meares and Robert Meares.

He is survived by: his wife Carrie Meares of Westminster, SC; his sons, Greg Meares of Seneca, SC and Stephen Clark of Alabama; his siblings, Sylvester Meares, Donald Meares, Richard Meares, Rosa Jean Little, Mary Ann Stoops and Lucia "Cookie" Burt; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Andy of Haley, E. J., Meredith, Sarah, Trey, Carrington and Graham. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
