He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Samille Smith Moore Barnes; his parents, Louella Findley Barnes and Furman Barnes; his children, Michael Moore (Cindy) of Seneca, William Moore of Seneca and Pansy Fassett of Westminster; and his siblings, Wayne Barnes of Walhalla, Allen Barnes of Seneca, Winfred Barnes of West Union, Nora Shook of Seneca, Jane Grover of Commerce and Mary Houston of West Union. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
