She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy B. Nix; her parents, Walter Benjamin Loudermilk and Essie Mae Cushman Loudermilk; her sons, Charles Edward Nix and Timothy Eugene Nix; her brother Rudy Loudermilk; and her grandson James Thomas Nix.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Maurice Nix of McCormick, Donald Richard Nix of Seneca and Shirley Elaine Mize of Seneca; her siblings, Anthony Loudermilk, Roger Loudermilk, Doris Wilbanks, Sharon Donald, Pam Welborn McQuirt and Shelby Dockery; and her grandchildren, Tabatha Turner, Ashleigh Mize, Samantha Nix, Brittany Nix, Tyler Mize, Sandra Grinnell, Scott Nix, James Nix, Lorie Nix, Heather Nix, Sarah Nix, Jon Nix and Denise Nix. She is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
