He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Hendrix Sr. and Eva Head Hendrix; and his siblings, J. W. Hendrix Jr., Jimmy Hendrix, Larry Hendrix, Janie White and Molly Cheek.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Louise George Hendrix; his children, Michael Hendrix (Jennifer), Sammy Crenshaw (Tammy), Scott Crenshaw (Charlene), Yancy Crenshaw, Kenneth Hunt (Mary) and Christy Norris Chapman (Todd); and his siblings, Rev. Neal Hendrix and Tina Haley. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
