He is survived by: his wife Phyllis E. Christensen; his daughter Beth A. Christensen (Phil Goelz); his stepchildren, Becky Monahan (Daniel) and James E. Meyer (Dina); his grandchildren, Jennifer Dostal (Russell), David H. Monahan, Kristin Violi (Brandon), Joseph I. Meyer and Mathew Cogan; his great grandchildren, Maxwell Rothstein, Cameron Rothstein, Wesley Violi and Cameron Violi; and his brother-in-law Richard E. Mericle II.

In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to a charity of one's choice.
