He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford White and Eunice Inez Stancil White; his significant other Gay Compton; his grandchildren, Blake Heaton and Izzabelle Sheriff; and his siblings, Doyle White, Dewey White, Virgil White, Milton White, Evelyn Robinson, Betty Stalnaker and Myra Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Dena Padgett (Jamie), Laura Popham (Chad), Janice Rogers (Keith), Shannon Tilson (Shon), Steven Compton (Kim) and Douglas Compton (Jessica); and his siblings, Hershel White (Betty) of Walhalla and Joyce Schlock (Derral) of Townville. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
