He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hannibal and Myrtie Hardy; his wife Gaythel Margaret Fitzgerald Hardy; his daughter Vickie Hardy Crenshaw (Jimmy Crenshaw); and his siblings, TJ Hardy, Eva Spearman, Marie King, Louise Freeman and Evelyn Wilson.
He is survived by: his daughter Debbie Lyles (Jerry) of Westminster; his grandsons, Rob Lyles (Elizabeth) and David Lyles (Makayla); and his great grandchildren, Grace Lyles, Kate Lyles and Hank Lyles.
