He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Gail Wilson Hendrix; his parents, Arvie Hendrix and Frances Irene Rankin Hendrix; and his sisters, Rosa Lee Mason and Sue Ellen Harden.

He is survived by: his son Kyle Hendrix (Joy); and his granddaughter Abbigail Hendrix.
