It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matsue Miura Phillips (Westminster, South Carolina), who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clark Edward Phillips; her mother Genechi Miura; and her great grandchild Harper Grace Phillips. She is survived by: her son C. G. Phillips (Susan) of Long Creek; her grandchildren, Christy Bryson (Chris) of Walhalla, SC and Brian Phillips (Anna Bess) of Paris, Texas; her great grandchildren, Simon Bryson, Regan Phillips, Hadley Phillips and Hensley Phillips; and her siblings, Susao Miura, Toshiyaki Miura, Jiungi Miura of Japan, Hiroko Ozaki and Chieko Ito of Japan.
