He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Marie McCrackin Suttles; his parents, Luther Gaston and Alice Rochester Suttles; his son Christopher Michael Suttles; and his sisters, Linda Jean Suttles LaFaille and Katherine Lee.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Hellams (Chris); and his stepchildren, Angie Duncan (Brian), Marsha Chambers (Michael) and Jeff Stephens (Jan). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Old Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery (589 Old Liberty Rd, Westminster, SC 29693).
