It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Faye Brewster Floyd of Westminster, South Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Brewster and Tennie Evelyn McDaniel Brewster; her daughter Teresa "Lynn" Hawkins; and her siblings, Frank Brewster, Gloria Gast and Peggy Crofts.
She is survived by: her husband Wayman Ralph Floyd; her son Lee Floyd; her brother Wayne Douglas Brewster; and her grandchildren, Caleb Shannon and Courtney Hawkins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sandifer Funeral Home (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery (774 Unity Church Rd, Westminster, SC 29693).
