It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Melvin Bearden (Westminster, South Carolina), who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Bearden and Lizzie Dickert Bearden; and his sister Martha Smith. He is survived by: his wife Martha Lena Coleman Bearden; his children, James Bearden, Jr. (Clara Ann) and Julie Faus (Tadd); his sisters, Betty Shedd and Joann Kreitman; and his grandson Kevin Bearden.
