He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Owens and Lacy Owens of Iowa; and his brothers, Dwight Owens and Ronald Owens. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Joyce Hockensmith Owens; his children, Michael Owens of Central and Pamela Drake (Kyle) of Alabama; his grandchildren, Destiny Owens, Jadidiah Owens, Cassandra Owens and Lindsey Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Milo Owens, Melody Owens and April Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
