With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hoke Spencer (Westminster, South Carolina), born in Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away on May 21, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Lawing Spencer; his mother Mary Lathan Spencer; his daughter-in-law Becky Price Spencer; and his brothers, Bobby Spencer, Robert Spencer, Otis Spencer, Earl Spencer and Jack Spencer.
He is survived by: his children, Sammy Spencer, Joanne Hunter (Alton), Veda Harris (Phil) and Stella Anderson (Joey); his sisters, Stella S. Mooney, Murriel Robinson and Annie Ruth Spencer; and his grandchildren, Diana H. Bryson, Joseph Hunter, Jody Hunter, Emily Anderson and Elizabeth Anderson.
