It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Katherine Gibbs Chastie (Westminster, South Carolina), who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph Chastie; her parents, William Lester Gibbs and Laura Isabell Bradley Gibbs; her sons, William "Ronnie" Chastie and Timothy "Tim" Chastie; and her siblings, William "Bill" Gibbs, Jr. and Mary Ann Vaughn.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Cobb (Danny) of Townville; her sister Johnnie Hess (Paul); her granddaughters, Katrina Davis, Kristy Martin and Sherri Gambrell; her great grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Kaci Martin, Tristin Gambrell, Kayleigh Carver and Chloe Gambrell; and her great great grandchildren, Isabella Collins, Mayleigh Carver and Bentlee Carver.
