She was predeceased by: her husband David Simpson Blackwell; her parents, Charles Tillman Dale and Katherine Rhoda Baxter Dale; her son Michael Webb; her stepson Joey Gilliam; and her sisters, Jean Dale and Shirley Beaver.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Davis of Westminster and Lisa Burdette of Maryville, TN; her stepson Danny Blackwell of Westminster; and her siblings, Richard Dale of Pendleton, John Dale of Anderson, Cathy Marie Dale of Walhalla and Hazel Head of Fair Play. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
