It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Durwood Carroll (Westminster, South Carolina), who passed away on August 21, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Carroll and Jewell Howard Carroll. He is survived by: his wife Janie Johnson Marcus Carroll; his children, Michael Carroll, Nicholas Carroll, Christopher Moore, Debbie Bright, Mary Bradham Spooney and Jennifer Moore Shook; his sister Virnnett Fleming (Jason); his mother-in-law Alieen Kay (late Joe Henry Marcus); his granddaughter Kirstie Carroll; his great grandchildren, Eric Littleton, Emma Harden and Gracie LeCory; and his godchildren, Tristan Levi Blackwell and Oceana Carolyn Rose Blackwell.
