She was predeceased by: her parents, Maltie Everette Blackwell and Easter Sarepta Carter Blackwell; her son Brian Owens; and her brother Everette "Roger" Blackwell. She is survived by: her husband Derrell Russell Owens; her children, Vicki Bowman of Westminster, Pamela Poore (Pete) of Seneca, Russell Owens of Fair Play and Judy Sword (Mike) of Seneca; and her sister Peggy Buchanan (Jimmy) of Westminster. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
