He was predeceased by: his parents, Burt Whitener and Beulah Whitener of Westminster; and his siblings, Arthur, Ray Whitener and Katherine Dickerson.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Renee Ramey Eller of Westminster; his sisters, Caroline Baker of Anderson, SC and Judy Jones of Anderson, SC; and his grandchildren, James Curtis Rogers, Nikki Ramey and Kimberly Ramey. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Memorial Gardens (4500 SC-11, Westminster, SC 29693).
