He is survived by: the mother of his children Mary Fulbright Holbrooks; his children, Richard "Rick" Holbrooks, Steve Holbrooks (Sheree), Carolyn Branyon (Dean) and Catherine Whiten; his brother Jimmy Holbrooks; and his grandchildren, Kevin Freeman, Heather B. Head, Coleman Branyon, Sam Freeman, Adam Freeman, Candice H. Cobb, Dera Holbrooks, Drew Holbrooks and Zane Holbrooks. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
