With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brenda Elaine Cheek Hatfield of Westminster, South Carolina, born in Toccoa, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Eugene Hatfield; her parents, Sloan Turner and Eleanor Harris Cheek; and her brothers, Sloan Turner "Cheeko" Cheek Jr. and Courtney Cheek.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Hunt, Christopher Hunt and Michael Hendrix; her sisters, Cora Lee Hopkins Guthrie of Toccoa, GA and Nancy King of Seneca; and her nieces and nephews, Tanya King (Brian Crumpton), Vicky Lee (Danny), Darlene Butts (Ronald), Ernest King, Joseph Cheek and Elvis King.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Brenda's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
