He is survived by: his wife Janis Kirby Mahaffey; his daughter Kimberly Mahaffey of Seneca; his brother Ted Mahaffey of Seneca; his sister-in-law Tina C. Kirby; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Kirby (Carrie), Justyn C. Gibson, Brody Wald, Braden Wald, Courtney K. Wald (Keith), Maddy Lee, Abbey Lee, Ella Kirby and Aniston Kirby.
