She was predeceased by: her spouse Swain Tom Whiten; her parents, Silas James Lewis and Ruth Hedden Lewis; and her grandson Michael Swain Whiten, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lane Tom Whiten, Janet Kaye Simpson, Janice Faye Rose and Michael Swain Whiten, Sr.. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
