With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin F. Fostervold of West Union, South Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harald Fostervold and Irma Fostervold; his son Mikal Fostervold; his former wife Claire Vegard Fostervold; and his brother Harald Fostervold.
He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Mark Fostervold (Tina) and Tricia Golden (Matthew); his daughter-in-law Tammy Fostervold; and his grandchildren, Christopher Fostervold (Jennifer), Rhonda Smith (Jody), Amanda Martin (Daniel), Melissa Storch (David), Jason Dilts, Riley Tauscher, Keriann Parkes, Ariana Matyas, Brandon Matyas and Sam Golden. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
