She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Whipple of West Union, SC; her parents, Ernest Moore and Pauline Moore; and her siblings, Dillard Moore, Phillip Moore, James "Knob" Moore, Etta Lou Bradley and Britta Mae Troutman.
She is survived by: her son Jeff Bumgarner (Mary) of Whittier, NC; her grandchildren, McKae, Mabry and Emelyn; her daughter Paula Jarvenpaa (Steven) of Westminster, MA; her grandchildren, Alexander Waugh and Hollie Waugh; and her siblings, Doris "Sue" Wiggins of Whittier, NC and Tom Moore of Asheville, NC..
