She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian L. T. and Lilian Nix Wood; and her siblings, Clyde Wood, Howard Wood, Mac Wood, Andrew Wood and Margaret Taylor.

She is survived by: her husband Randy James Gentry of West Union; her son Jason Gentry (Stephanie); her grandson Tyson Gentry; and her siblings, William L. T. Wood (Brenda), Gary Wood (Earlene), Randy Wood (Jenette) and Evelyn Sanders (Clayton). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
