She was predeceased by: her parents, George Frank and Eva Stewart Duncan; and her siblings, Tom Duncan, Kenneth Duncan, Lucille Vaughn and Nellie Vaughn.
She is survived by: her sons, James Robert "Harry" McAlister, Jr., Timothy McAlister (Pam), Tony McAlister and Bobby Joe McAlister. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
